Removing Rad-Fans as an entirity on an S1 Xan

Can someone please post up a step by step or decent guidelines to removing the radiator fans as a complete unit rather than one by one.

It's an S1 1.8 16v with AC.

Use service Citroën to identify fastener locations, but generally:

Remove inner wheelarch splashguards
Remove blinkers
Remove upper grille/moustache
Remove bumper after unplugging froglight harness
Unplug headlights
Unclip top of radiator from panel and tilt back, ensuring condenser moves with it
Disconnect bonnet release primary cable
Unbolt panel and tilt forward
Identify and release cooling fan connection points
Remove panel

That seems a bit wrong... The condenser is fastened to the fan support, and I think the A/C may need to be depressurised and the pipes undone to get at the screws. Attemping to tilt the condenser while still bolted on is asking for trouble.

Not a problem on a car without A/C.

Maybe one of those Series 1-2 differences? I was able to remove a S2 panel easily with condenser in place, although the exact detail of this mounting escapes me right now.

That's correct, two allen screws on the right side and two rubber shock absorbers on the left side.
