"The Beast"

Post by ACTIVE8 »

"The Beast" gets stuck!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13507728

Looks like the driver should have checked the exit first!!

If you look at the BMW which goes first it's very close to the ground, therefore you can guess what's going to happen to the stretch limo nicknamed, The Beast!"

I think the beast is dead, the front suspension collapsed for some reason and it really did catch on something under there

You can see the stop for the gates, that's what the car caught on. Those tend to be fairly well concreted into the ground and once the car got high centred, it balanced quite nicely.

Yes exactly, that's what brought it to a stop very quickly!

The sound of it contacting it is very loud, and it acted like an anchor!

Apparently it's called "The Beast" because it is meant to unstoppable!!

Well they better go back to the drawing board, and redesign it with spheres etc, and Activa roll control, then it might be able to deal with obstacles better!!

Its a bit poor if the thing can not even get out of a driveway

I would have thought that might of been on air suspension.

When it contacted the gate plate it looked like something off "Pimp My Ride," the driver certainly made an "Exhibit" of themselves, and it would be good to see a close up of the drivers' facial expression after it happened! 8-)

It would be similar to Dim West(Two Planks Of)Woods' vacant expression I guess.

Talk about a bad day at the office!

Imagine trying to explain it, well boss I made a mistake, yes son I noticed!

Note....

There appear to be two "Beasts" as there were two, one behind the other in the news anchor post  clip from Ireland, and they appear to be lacking one Caddy  now they are in the U.K. with their at least twenty strong convoy.

So the plan of guess which "Beast" I am in went t**s up, not so much "Beast" more breast.

If only it had hydropneumatic suspension.. Problem solved...

That would never have happened with the French President in his DS or SM :D

I don't like the idea of any past or present US President sullying Citroëns with their bumprints. They should stay in American cars - and then within the limitations thereof!

FWIW also I reckon the huge show of security is just the "entourage" attempting to justify their massive employment cost. The man would have almost certainly just been as safe exiting the building in a golf cart!
