EGR Location

Evening all,

Does anybody know where i might find the EGR valve on a Citroen C3 1.4 Hdi 16v? The car is coming over at the weekend and i'm after a head start

From the info I have the EGR valve on the 1.4 Hdi is on the exhaust manifold at the gearbox end of the engine.

What are you planning to do to it?

thanks for the reply,

I'm hoping to remove it and find it all coke'd up then clean it up. What should i use to clean it up with?

Is there anything untoward i should know about?

If you're removing the EGR valve it would be best to also remove the pipe to the inlet manifold and clean that out.

The best thing to use to clean up an EGR valve is Wynns EGR3 aerosol spray.

You can get it from GSF.
