hi,
my mrs has a 1.6 fidji 03 scenic. the rear electric windows are really dodgy so we don't use them anymore. they come down ok,but it takes an age to get them to go up. The worry is,eventually they won't and we will be stuck with the windows open so like i say, we leave them closed. Will this be a case of the motors both had it? if so, are they easy to replace? and are they expensive? thanks..........dean.......

When you say that "it takes an age to get them to go up", I take it that they are slow?
If so this very similar to a problem I had on my old 306.
The rubber in the window guides had gone hard and was making it difficult for the window to move.
I brought some rubber "revitaliser", removed the door card and sprayed it on the rubber guides and the window operated as normal after that.

thanks for the advice. I will give that a try. to be honest, I have only ever tried it while driving and so am not sure if this is the case. I will try it while the car is still and quiet to make sure the motors are running. If they are, I will try that, thanks. Where would I buy this from? just a car parts shop??
