bloody artic drivers

after my car being off the road trying to find the air leak in my fuel system ive enjoyed having it back on the road until today... after leaving a roundabout i had an artic knock my back end nearly span me luckily i managed to control the car, slammed on the horn but he never heard me came back into the side of me and scraped the side of the car he drove off and never stopped .. My wheelarch is dented so is my rear door ... i did inform police .... witness stopped and his wife had taken a part registration number he could not believe what he had seen the truck do he was shaking more than me

That's shocking! Was it on a British registration or was it foreign?

Nasty experience for you Teresa, I'm pleased that you came out of it relatively unscathed but that guy needs removing from the roads.

On the side of the truck there was a british reg plate stuck on which i just glanced at (was an 06 plate) when i pulled up at the side of it just before the junction ..Also noticed it was blue and white with an oxide red container on the back .never saw the back of the truck as it drove off so fast the witness got what he said was the reg but it looks more like a container number dont think there is any chance of the old bill catching him ... i went to drs last night as had a bit of a sleep and my arms, shoulders and legs became painful when i moved them.... now got whiplash and soft tissue damage to my lower back so now thats me off work for 2 weeks ...
Bf had a look at car last night it drives ok and the damage is not to bad looks like it will repair... But have now decided to break it for spares as need smaller car as DD wants to learn to drive

Shame to break it, looks very tidy. Someone might like it as a fixer.
