Its wobbly, how do you mean?

The airbag is removed by sticking a screwdriver in both holes in the back of the steering wheel and it should pop off. I have a spare steering wheel and airbag, so ill double check on that later.

Ive removed them a few times on C5s, its simple enough, just make sure you have the battery disconnected for 20-30 minutes before you attempt it.

You have to make sure that the screwdrivers are fairly stout and that you move the metal tags at the same time. You can't do one tag and then the other - the bag jams.

Don't you have a spellchecker in your browser?
Wouldn't have caught that one anyway.

Yes I do Steve, though it lets me miss things if the word still makes sense.

John, does the steering chatter when going over bumps or is it just you can rock the wheel on its fixing?

Steering wheel position adjustment. If the locking lever isn't fully locked you may get a bit of movement on the wheel.

If it is only in one direction perhaps the column clamp is coming loose.

Hi No lift in the column just at the wheel. If anyone has a pic of wheel with the airbag off, that would be helpfull. John.

if you have rattle feeling in the steering it is probably the collapsible joint that has a bit of play, i put a vice grips on it a tight as i could to squeeze it tight and 12 months later mine is still tight
