I believe this is a UK-based survey; anyone else seen reference to it?

Can you imagine that question when taking out insurance? Sir, do you play racing games on a regular basis? if so your insurance premium will be X amount cheaper!!!!!

Don't give them ideas! :?

Except it would be geared to make premiums more expensive.

What it does show, is that of the sample group, those who were nicked more often and drove faster, actually made less insurance claims!

I'm not taking a stand on this one way or t'other, but it sure makes a farce of political bleatings...

You have to wonder what constitutes some of the areas they questioned though. Under risks they give examples of Accelerating too quickly, and overtaking.

Who defines what is too fast to accelerate? To my knowledge overtaking, if done properly or on multilane roads, is not particularly risky.

Admittedly I am a gamer who enjoys racing games, so maybe my view is somewhat skewed.

My first though was also April fool, but apparently not.

Surveys, statistics and definitions are often amibiguous and skewed in so many ways, they're laughable IMO.

Mario Kart is hardly relevant, is it?

 Any idea how those symbols were made, I could do with a few designs for my three extra buttons I've added.

I've already got a smoke screen weapon as well.
