Hi all, anyone know how to get the bulb out of the numberplate light on the tailgate of my 2001 406 estate? Had a quick look, but couldn't see an easy way. Does the inner cover have to come off first? Or can they be got at from outside?

From memory, the actual bulb cover comes off from the outside, you need a tiny terminal type screwdriver or similar to do it, as its easy to break the tags off.
Once its off, I think then you will see two screws or tags holding it in place.

Cheers for the quick reply. I saw the two small round holes and thought the tabs would be easy to break.....quickly tried a small driver, but didn't want to force it, not knowing which way the cover came off.
