Xantia 2 hydraulic pump problem ?

Xantia 2 hydraulic pump problem ?
There is a leak problem with the pump on my Xant and I'm biginning to suspect that the pump body may be cracked
I've replaced the O ring seal on the ouput valve 3 times now, the first 2 were standard sized from my workshop selection box but the last one was genuine Citroen as they are a special size.
All 3 have eventually started to leak, within a few days, but the Citroen one was the least long lasting as it is slightly smaller in X section.
So, I'm at a loss without taking the pump off for a VERY close inspection.
Are they known for cracking ?

HDi,
Where is the leak as if you tighten the metal pipes too tight it causes leaks.
I have a new pipe which runs from the HP pump to the accumulator. It is new and no use to me now free to a good home.

The problem is not with any of the pipes. Looking at the top of the pump it's the outlet on the left hand side. It screws into the pump body and a pipe attaches to the top of it. It's a valve and is sealed to the pump body with an O ring. As I said, after 3 replacement O rings it still leaks.

They do occasionally crack, usually as a result of extended running with a flat accumulator or over-zealous tightening of the 19mm hexagon on the delivery valve...

It's cracked Behind the threaded hole that the 19mm hex valve screws into !! Just put a worm drive hose clamp around the boss to try and minimise it, but in vain I think !
So, question now is, where do I get a new or recon pump from, at a low price and quick ?!

Whole pump, the threaded boss that the hex adaptor screws into is cracked vertically at the back.
Would be great if you have a good pump, how quickly could you get it to me ?
Are there different types for the Xantia 2 HDI ? Mine is a '99.

Petrol or diesel are the only differences.... Pumps didnt change otherwise.... The regulators did change between s1 and s2 cars....
If i send a pump it would be an idea to put in a new o ring seal in the useual place.... Ill be in touch..

Many thanks. Not wanting to appear impatient but I need to know quickly as I need to make sure I have a pump on Wednesday, so should you not have one I would need to get one dispatched tomorrow from whichever supplier I can find.

Cheers Paul, thanks for the offer anyway. I have a trip to make on Thursday and can't take the risk of the pump totally failing so need to change it on tomorrow. Will try Plaides but there are also a couple of suppliers on ebay, fingers x'd then !

Well the pump nightmare is over, hopefully !!
Sorted a re-conned pump but it wasn't possible to get it until today, so trip postponed !
Finished installing it at about 7.30pm, simple to do but I was hampered by doing it outside without a full selection of tools and it was becoming dark.
The only thing that decided it was going to annoy me was the serpentine belt, it jumped off the middle tensioner pulley and it was a bugger to persuade back on from above !
Fired it up and had a bit of a plonker moment ! There was no brake or suspension pressure, just PS !! After 5 mins of ranting then despair I realised the problem, forgot to tighten the pressure relief screw on the reg !!
Anyway, all working again and it seems to raise more quickly than it did and hopefully the end of LHM leaks for now !
