Lexia - planet 2000 Interface to 307

Post by sooty »

I've Lexia-3 and Planet 2000.

Having a problem with the central locking system and wipers etc where recently went haywire and had to disconnect battery to clear problem.

Now central locking playing up, not locking diferent doors each time its locked either by remote or key.

And can't lock any door from inside, no button/lever etc on inside of doors !!!!!!

Knowing I can get the whole kit of 6 or more plugs and cables from fleabay, anyone know of which specific interface/cable is needed for a 52plt 307 hdi from a laptop.

thanks

You need the most common one - it starts with an OBD-II connector at one end, passes through a round intermediate connector then the Lexia "box" with green light, finally connected by a cable that is 15-pin D on the "box" end but USB on t'other.

Thanks,

Since posting the question, reading google about scanning the system for faults.

It says the 307 and C5 are no good for doing this, something about the french not doing either OBDII or OBD till the last minute pre2004.

Worried now if I get the kit it will be awaste.

Lexia interface (Peugeot Planet) will read all Citroen/Peugeot cars from 1995 untill 2010 ,then Diagbox will take over which is both combined , i have been reading cars with this equipment for 3 years and have yet to come across a model or year it won`t read , this is selling around £100 posted on places on the web , hope that helps.
For what we are about to receive may we be truly thank full.
