my shed would look like that but thankfully i was given a storage room at work, which has spilled into the yard in the form of two rear subframes a bonnet and a pile of headlights, god only knows what would happen if i had to bring it home, i like a tidy workshop

I bet you know where every single thing is?

My shed is extremely tidy and so easy to keep too, as i dont have one

How nice it must be to have a barn or something to store parts and, mainly, cars!

My parts are spread about, some are in relatives garages, in our garages, stored in the C15. I try to keep a stash of bits to a minimum.

I need to tidy mine all. I have a few different areas. CX, XM, Xantia, and then a few bits of random stuff I haven't tidied yet like the XM estate (theres not much of that to tidy :( ).

my excuse is many years ago before running my own workshop, i used to do a bit of kerb side auto's,

and we had some theaveing types liveing near by,

so if and when i dismantled the like of G's,Visa's, dershies (2cv's) and a CX,

i used to dump the bits in the shed in a mess so the theaveing types could not find anything worth pinching,

now i wish i had kept it a bit tidyer

I have just invested in one of those metal drawer tool storage units after 50 or more years of not being to find anything, absolutely brilliant, I did some work on the 406 today in about half the time it normally takes because I could find everything straight away :D

Same here !! The single garage I have here is full to the doors, I have to take stuff out to even step inside ! The double garage at my mums place is almost as bad, with my stuff !! I can just use a bench at the back there but access is like walking around the edge of the deck of a small boat !
I also have a 40 ft container full, and a 200 sq ft of self storage !!
This is what happens when you've been spoiled with having a family business based at a 6000 sq ft warehouse and having a little corner of your own to store stuff, then, it closes and space has to found to accommodate it all !
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
