zx radio problems

Hi, I have inherited a badly wired radio in my zx .
The radio will turn it self off , if I"m travelling along a bumpy road . It then asks for the key code , very irritating! When I pulled out the Citroen [ original] radio , I have found most of the green wires have been cut through !
Can I rewire these back into the chocalate box fitting ?any help gratfully received .
