HOw about a section which has topics re specific jobs which are common where people could post their latest prices.

Eg, I am getting caliper on front brake replaced so £160 or so.

Rear trailing arm bearing on c5 replacement £350

Head Gasket replaced £450 etc etc

Would allow people to look at priced being charged elswhere to get an idea if they are getting value.

very good idea. Then you can see real up-to-date prices to compare with and may even be in your area.

Yes, excellent suggestion.

I think the Recommended Garages and Services would probably be the best place for it.
