Hi guys,
another quickie :
Just changed the radiator on my 1.9D Zx, filled it up with new coolant.
Something weired has appeared :
Not only does the coolant temperature climb quite fast in traffic, but on the motorway (at 130kph) the coolant temperature varies from 80°C to just under 90°C, goes up and down all the time.
Before it didn't do it.
Mmmmm strange....
Does anyone have a clue ?
Cheers
Unstable coolant temperature

Air in cooling system ?
On the BX - it's allways necessary to have the cooling system burp on your shoulder - if drained & refilled.
Simply park the car nose steep uphill - let idle for 30 mins - then let cool off & top up.
Remember to have cabin heat full on (not blower) - to remove air from heater matrix.
