Just a quick intro of what I picked up at auction the other night. Not French, but the electrical behaviour would suggest otherwise, so here goes.

1991 Jaguar XJ6 4.0 Auto. with 75k miles. Elderly gent got too old for driving and his son brought his Jaaaag to auction. Got stacks of service history, original Jaguar Toolkit and a Haynes Manual as well :-D

No tax or MOT as the car has been SORNed for the past year, but it's done 260 miles since it's last MOT in Sep 09

Will have a bit of fun then sell it on, no way could I afford to keep this AND an Avantime.

Ah, the interior pics!

I've never seen inside of an old Jaaaag before. Look at the size of that engine

Good buy, I'd love to see the look on your mates faces :-D

Umm, I can't say as I see the likeness Robert, or does he speak French with with a soft Irish accent?

As an aside, what car does the president run around in these days? Has he still got the fleet of Chapron SMs and decap DS's I wonder?

Thank you!

Well the Jag is gone. And I took this beauty as a trade in.

A 1995 Renault Espace 2.0 Champs-Elysées with a grand total of 192,600 miles. It's a dog in every possible way, but it's taxed and MOTd until the end of January. It's a hateful car, and has the tendancy to lose power at the most unpredictable times, and the most dangerous, leading to two near death experiences in the past two days. It'll be weighed in soon, but even then it's the car that's having the last laugh, the bloody thing is plastic!

Paint it red and call it Christine...

It'll probably injure the scrappie when it is finally weighed (floated?) in...
