Glovebox Fuse

Unread post by wizzer59 »

Hi Guys
Just a quicky, putting a new bulb in the glove box yesterday I shorted something out and the fuse blew, looking through the owners handbook I can't see a fuse for it, it must be the same as the sun visor mirror lights because they don't work either.

Any ideas??? :?

Pulling out fuses on a C5 is not something that can be improvised.
Most of them are awkwardly placed with no view to the sockets.
There are gaps between some of them, and you would need to mark where you took one out.
There’s also the risk of losing some down the works, and one is even placed behind a plug.
I’m certainly not venturing there without rehearsal. :?
The owners’ handbook says nothing about the glove box and mirror fuse.

Bit of a WAG but probably F11 or F24, in the passenger glovebox.
Will have a check later if I get the opportunity.
