Difference between XUD and DHX

Hi all,I would like to buy a timing belt kit and water pump.My question is my xantia TD is the DHX,is it the same as the XUD.I ask because when changing the aux belt the spring tensioner was different to the ones in all relevant posts.Many thanks.

All DHX's are XUDs... but not all XUDs are DHX's, the DHX is a specific variant of the XUD9.

Different variants will have different auxiliarys fitted, depending on car and equipment, that means if the car has aircon it may need a different belt and tensioner to one that doesn't!

Yes tis difficult as you have manual / auto tensioner then with / without aircon, and (not sure on Xantia's) different alternator positions ( ! )
