my mrs has a renault scenic 1.6 petrol fidju spec edition. She has informed me tonight that sometimes when she puts the de misters on,they don't do anything, then a bit later, they will just burst into life of their own accord... I don't like the sound of that, anybody any ideas what this could be?? obviously not a fuse? thanks, dean

If you put your demisters on directly after starting the car it takes 30 seconds or so for the fans to operate. No need to worry as this is normal.

hi sorry for the late response just to confirm do you mean the heater blower
if so this a cmmon fault but it sounds likeits not too late to be saved cheaply you can buy a new plug from renault for around £40 and simply remove the old one and splice the new one on. let me know if this is the case and ill give instruction on how to do it.
