Good battery clamps

Post by DickieG »

As my Xantia HDi was suffering from the now common problem of overheating battery clamps/leads I've been researching the most suitable replacement for the original part and was pointed in the direction of these Ojop "Quick Power" clamps by my neighbour who uses them on his R5GTT. They have a clamp action on the lead so the chances of a poor connection between the lead and clamp is very small and best of all the insulated cover acts as a quick release mechanism. I'm also very impressed by the quality so no messing about with spanners.

i bought some brassy coloured quick release clamps from ECP with a screw together type wire clamp,

far better that the usualy crappy repair terminals most the factors sell,

the type that the wire is spozed to be held by two screws going into/through the wire core
