C5 2.2hdi Bosch system 2002 fuel pump issues

Ok I had an issue with the high pressure pump.

Replacement pump fitted but it had a blocked regulator.

Regulator replaced (secondhand but with new seals thanks to ddl)

Now getting in lexia P1138 That fluctuates between permanent / Temp fault. Fuel Pressure Regulator Stop requested But Regulator still Active.

Any Pointers please

I can post any additional info requested from lexia as required.

If you follow the wiring down from the fuel rail pressure sensor to just near the sump there should be a yellow 3 pin connector, poor connections at this plug is the usual cause of this fault, cut the connector off & solder the wires direct. This fault is sometimes acompanied by the engine running on for a few seconds after switching the ignition off ?
