Have radio - no record of code.

Hi the radio in my Synergie works fine and obviously unless I disconnect the battery it' should continue to do so without me having to enter a code. However, I don't have a record of the code so is there a way I can obtain it? Would Citroen have a record of it? Or is there something I can do with the radio powered up and working?

The last couple of times I've asked dealers for codes they've been able to give me them.

I got the Key code and the radio code for a Xantia from them not so long ago.

Worked fine I now have the code. Not that I'm going to use it, hopefully, but it's there if I need it

Good, I spotted that the other day on ebay, thought it was a fair price and noted it, and only a day later it was useful.

For anyone else reading this you can enter a barcode number from the unit into a calculator program to obtain the code. There are many places to download for free.

My xantia came without the radio working and have been looking for a way to obtain the code BUT.
I dont know if its the original radio,It has stamped on the radio KA 07.
I thought this maybe a date code 2007 possibly.
My xantia is an N reg 96 so is it likely to be the wrong radio.
Stenasev my radio has a barcode but has no ones or zeros on it so the barcode system would'nt work on this would it.

Hi,

Not sure of the details but I think the barcode you need is on a sticker on the unit. This sticker easily peels off so may have been removed or lost if the stereo has been in and out a few times for any reason.
I have only been a Citroen owner for a few days and was pleased to find an easy solution when I changed my battery and then realised I had no code!

It has the barcode on the sticker which is still in place but the ones and zeros are not printed with the barcode.
