Yes this is "sometimes" my problem : the car raise up in a jumpy fashion. This happens most times. Suspension is a little bit harder then also. When it goes i one fluend fashion my ride is much more softer and comfortable.
Do i have the populair front strut problem?

Is that
(1) jumpy rise with the odd creaking/groaning noise, or
(2) just a number of separate movements to get to normal operating height?
See below for the first, if the second then I'd suspect an older pump delivering less pressure.
What may help is Anders' trick of raising to maximum height, pulling up the black plastic strut gaiter, then greasing the section of the strut which is revealed. This may help in any case.
