What stage are you reaching with the Lexia? Is it prompting you for the RPO?

So, you've started the laptop, selected the right model of C5 by photo matching with the images, plugged in the diagnostic lead, switched on the key and left it on, entered the RPO, and then when you hit "Enter" no dialogue occurs?

Try it with the engine running, and just hit Enter when it prompts you to turn the ignition off and on. That will eliminate the flat battery as the cause.
