Just analysed the logs for January, we had nearly 2.9MILLION hits!

Just looked at the failed registration attempts.

Nearly 1250 since last evening. The spammers like us too. Luckily, they're well and truly thwarted

We remain ever vigilant...

Isn't about 2/3 of the traffic on the net actually rogue or useless spam'n tat?
2.9 MILLION hits though...

There aren't that many needy French cars with switched on owners for the
reminder surely?

When I looked last night then 90% of those perusing the site were Googlebots.

Just under 470,000 hits are from spiders (google etc)
A hit is a request to the server, so a web page with just 5 images on will produce 6 hits (5 for the images, and 1 for the page itself).
There's about 86K hack attempts.
