is it RED DWARFERS who is the sofware boffin around here,

as i have a C5 manual on disc i bought from flea bay a year or so back,

i tried installing it onto a diferent computer but i dose not accept the access code,

i think you are ment to apply for a diferent/new code every time on trying to install it,

problem is i cant find the company anymore ( Electronic manuals Coventry).

so i was wounderingif there were a very clever sort out there who could unlock this disc,

but the disc/manual i have has lots of citroen and related files on, which as i say i cant open at the moment,

Hey Malcolm,
When you say does not accept the access codes, is this a serial number for installing the program, or does the program install but won't open?
Also having the name of the program your installing may help search teh interwebs for a solution.

ok Sid

i bought this disc as a C5 workshop manual but when i first installed it if memery serve's, i think i had to enter a code that was supplied with the disc,

this then generated another code which i had to send the supplier (ELECTRONIC MANUALS ), they then send me an access code to open the files, or at least i think thats the sequence of event's,

but now on trying to install onto a diferent computer it wont run/open

now it seems the company has vannished,

the disc doesnt only contain the C5 manual but otjhers and lots of other citroen related info,

it says on the disc Citroen Workshop Mnuals and to one side DVD

Malcolm, do you have all the files already installed on another pc, perhaps it would be simpler to copy these files/program than to try run this install routine.
Without seeing this disk in action, I'm afraid I have no further advise.

Bring to the next Car rally I'll happily take a look then, that is if no one else has a solution before then.
