Whilst they look fantastic and I'd love a s1 and a s2 version it appears they're
very limited and thus are rudely priced - more than I've had real ones for!!

Is it worth denting the bank balance for? I've dropped hints for Birthday and
Xmas lists but understandably, their price is baulked at - especially when it's
well know the prices I've paid in the past for the 1:1scale ones!

now i voted yes as i paid around £130 for a 1:18th Solido XM in an unopened box, with original wrapping and decals still on the sheet, absolute mint.
Trouble was i lasted 3 weeks before seeing it as a waste and applying the decals and displaying it with my other model cars in the living room  .

Lifes too short, if you want it and it will give you pleasure looking at it then scrape the pennies together and buy it!!!!!, hell its every bit as pretty as the real thing with none of the headaches, bargain!!

XM Prestige PRV6 92

Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............

I have seen this type and maker of resin models before. Ive seen an AX GT and a BX GTI version, im pretty sure made by the same company.

They were extremely detailed, even the interior is perfect. The models are very heavy too.

These were about £80 each if i remember right.

That CX does look superb, i wonder if Norev will bring out a CX model. Some of their new models are fantastic, such as the Ami 6, DS, DS Cabrio, SM, C6.

I have at least x4 Xm ones Dean one still mint in the box, another x2 I
stuck the black pillar stickers  and another I have is a never seen
before dark metallic green - it looks so good it must've be a labour of love
or a specially commissioned model new? I'd love an Olympic blue one that
I regret not buying new for 30quid in Beatties years ago - silly money now
even in it's generic Solido box rather than the black dealer box.

The C6 model in blue is a must have if you ever see one - buy it!!

I have every 1:18 scale Cit I can get my hands on but I mentally cannot
justify these Cx - thing is, I've never seen one and handled it for it to mug
my wallet and can only judge from pictures (usually on eBay auctions).

I'm still undecided! :?

Yep, that's what I've seen before Xac - sold out or unavailable. :(
May have to cough up sometime.

I'd love to see an 1:18 scale Norev Cx (saloon, estate and Safari) and Gs.
It's odd what other large models are made by the French manufacturers.

Do you have the latest Norev models then Andrew? The Ami 6, DS etc?

The Ami is great, i have that in green, the DS in silver and the DS Cabrio in dark grey. Im still wanting the SM and C6.

I doubt it will interest you, but have you seen the Chinese made new shape C5? That looks superb.

Yes I do Chris. The Sm in gold and teh Ds in green - the AK 2CV vans in
various liveries are fab too. The C6 is is one of the latest release model
highlights - even the box it came in is nicely done!

I'll search out the C5 one as I haven't seen it. Found a black C4 1:43
4 door for my sister as she loves her real one and is a bit of a car nut
after a long painstaking search - dealer promo set of 4 various models.

Yes i have one of the 2cv vans, in red. They were selling for a bargain price in modelzone at one point, should have bought more colours and the H van too. I do have a H van though, in silver. Also a much bigger 2cv van in green with a motor thing on the front axle, an ancient plastic model, its very good though.

Ah, the C4 saloon? I think ive seen that, shame they have not done the normal hatchbacks.

I really want a C5! or II model, but they dont do them. I have them in the 1.43 Minichamps size, estate and saloon, i also have the C6, C4 Coupe, Pluriel with removable roof and pieces, C1 5 door, Berlingo.

We have so many 1.43 Citroen models i cant remember which ones we do have. There is around 500, i think we have every traction model ever!

Though i only buy the ones which look good, which is why the Burago C6 isnt one to bother with!

Lovely models, but a 1:1 scale model could have been got for the same price at a time! That would always be in the back of my mind, and you can't weigh it in to get your money back!

That model for my sister is pukka C4 now mind Chris, not the latest effort!!

I do have some of the Sanchis 1:16 scale Cx's and many Joets Mont Blanc
Gs's in various colours including the flui-guidee (steerable wheels by remote)
in mint or B-N-I-B condition. Far easier to store than the real ones.
Weighing in any CX for scrap isn't something to be especially happy about
mind Robert!

I find ones smaller than 1:1 offer far less running costs, maintenance costs and dont rust anything like the full sized thing. Plus id have no where to actually put 500 real cars ...

granted its not as easy to go anywhere in them, but hey!

No, its just nice to have them, collectable pieces really, especially if they are models of cars you have or have had.

Xm and Xantia models are scarce. Ive got a lovely Norev Xm in 1:43 size, the best ive seen. It does have the mad European wheel trims and in bright green.
