Lexia 3 works on C4 but not mk2 Xantia

Folks

This is my 2nd Chinese copy Lexia 3, sadly works on my wifes c4 but not my mk2 Xantia x reg hdi90 estate

I read on this forum somewhere that they MAY only work with Bosch EMUs. IS mine a Siemens?

Any clues help /welcome.

All Xantia HDi were Bosch EDC15C2

Siemens was only used in some Xsara HDi.
