Back from the witch's hands- I got my ZX back!

Unread post by oscarloco »

Just got my ZX back from my now ex-wife.

Having survived a side collision (she swears the other car crossed a red light), no oil change for 1 year! (at least she kept it full of oil), no air filter (K&N) cleaning for the same time, the diagnostic is as follows:
- Needs new tires
- Needs replacing the top bearing of the shock mount
- Oil change-done Filter cleaning-pending
- needs replacing the bushes in the links controlling the gearbox

The last one is the one that worries me most. Where can I get these bushes (or balljoints, I don't remember) or the complete links? GSF does not has them and neither does Citispares.

Thank you in advance for your help.

ps
At least I replaced the clutch assembly during the divorce process (strategy to avoid retaliation from the witch) so now the driving is awesome. Nice tire spinning while launching at full blast!

:)

Gear linkages were available from the Main Dealer.. I got some XM ones a year or so ago, 12 to 24 quid IIRC...

Sturt top bearing, seems a common problem with the 306 too... I need to do one aswell, but cannot get the hub Pinch bolt out...
