407 headlight bulb help please!!!

Hello all,

What bulb is needed, where can i get one and is it easy to do?

Any motor factors will stock bulbs. Halfords do them though can be quite expensive. The only exception would be if you have HIDs, in which case your best bet is to search the net for some good quality bulbs. They fairly simple to do, though if its anything like the 406 expect to lose half your knuckles and to make a blood sacrifice to the gods of Peugeot headlamps!

Depending which bulb has gone will determine what bulb you need, I'm assuming its a front one...

Halogen Dipped Beam - H1
HID (Xenon) Dipped Beam - D2S
Main Beam - H7
Fog Light - H11

Main beam is on the inside and Dipped is on the outside of then lamp units.

got it done, i was being a biff! it was the H1 bulbs, had to go to halfrauds but the fancy bright lights were buy 1 get 1 free!
