can anyone recommend a mechanic/garage in or around Leeds?

Hi, having passed its MOT with flying colours I thought I'd treat my xantia to a suspension overhaul and a few other bits and bobs, I live in Leeds and wondered if anyone can recommend somewhere that knows their way round the Citroën suspension?

What are you thinking about having done? The last time I paid someone else to fix my Citroen I took it to Procars at Batley. Unit 7-8 Wilton Industrial Court, 851 Bradford Road, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 8NN Tel 01924 440751 but this was about 10 years ago (I don't even know if they are still going. The 3 jobs they did for me were well done and the price reasonable.

I'm not entirely sure what needs doing to the suspension, it's really bouncy for about 10 minutes on start up and is even worse if I turn the engine off and on quite quickly (ie filling with fuel). The ! and STOP lights come up on the dash when the engine is cold too. I also need the glow plugs replacing, which I tried doing myself but it ended up being a massive hassle.

I'll see if I can track that garage down.

What model Xant do you have?

It's an R reg 1.9TD. It also says Athena on the boot, I don't know if that makes it special?

All Xants are special

I believe that will make it a 6 sphere car so not Hydractive or active suspension.
