That looks fun - a rare sighting when new, that's for sure!
The key thing with driving these is momentum and anticipation! :D
Bet you'll be like a kid before Christmas dying to get your hands on it.

Very nice.

Bit of rude question! How much would one expect to pay for something like this in this condition?

I have no idea of 2CV values especially for something like this. Whilst these are clearly rare, does that make them collectable?

Very nice! 8-)

Looks like a tidy one, has it got a galvanised chassis?

My parents had one identical to that, with the rear seats too, but in bright yellow. Quite an eye catching thing!

That would be perfect in France, why not have a traditional French car to use when your over there, i like it :)

paying 2k for it, too much, too little god knows :?
i think it's just one of those things that you can only decide after seeing it.
2CV car prices vary wildly, vans being rarer the same but a little higher?
the Acadiane basically being a Dyane front & 2CV van rear less desirable, again looking at Leboncoin in France prices go from 600-4500 euro's.

this one i think doesn't have Galv chassis, at first look rusty box section on petrol tank panel, not structural but you can still buy the panels new for £70, front grille tabs broken again available new i think.
only other minor probs are washers don't work but passed MOT due to screen being flat, apparently some quirk of test is this is OK?

no doubt i'll find other probs due to rose tinted specs

£2000 seems quite cheap, as 2cvs and its siblings are starting to go for very good money.

The Chassis is an area to look at, as they do rust and a lot of cars have had replacement chassis by now, usually the galvanised ones.

Though if its passed an MOT without problem it should be sound.
