Tailgate struts

As soon as the weather turned cold my tailgate struts stopped working!
Can anyone give me some advice as to where I might get some and how to replace them.I'm risking decapitation daily!

I think you can get those from gsfcarparts. Have a look on the website:-

They've got shops around the country as well.

I replaced one of the struts in mine. I remember that it has 480 N force but don't have the product code.

I was quoted £25 plus VAT for them each so I got a secondhand pair from ebay for £10 all in.

To get off push in the metal bit and pull. Make sure that the tailgate doesnt fall on your head!
