2.0Hdi exclusive heater fan control

Post by Edhertz »

I am posting this in the hope that someone has come across this problem. The heater fan is running at high and cannot be controlled by means of the slider. I have checked the mechanical linkage inside the unit and everything is moving freely with no obvious signs of overheating on the viewable circuits. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Toby for reply. Job sorted, cost me a stiff neck and a pair of 30A power transistors: RS Stock No. 668-1502.
