BX Starting Problem

BX Starting Problem

The Orange glow plug light is not coming on the dash, and when turning the engine over it takes about 10-15 seconds before it starts. Is this just a glow plug problem or something more serious?

No, I suggest that the relay is not operating. A test lamp from a glow plug terminal to earth should tell you if this is so. Check the supply to the relay before discarding it!

Yeah also check the Earth side of the relay which I am fairly sure is connected to the earth bolt on the inner wing just behind the battery
