error in lexia - C5

Post by viorelovidiu »

Hi citroenmads and Merry Christmas!

Recently I've done a lexia test and something strange happened: While reading fault log it said that the log is full and after opening it came up with "the fault log is empty".
All the sensors are just fine and no permanent errors came up after scanning.

Has anyone encountered such an error? It could be related to flashtunning (ecotuning from a friend which is using software from med tuning england). Last scanning with lexia was 2 months ago and the fault log was readable.

Another strange behaviour after remapping when the cold weather came, almost every morning with temperatures below 0 degres the engine starts normally but after 10-20 seconds it deaccelerate itself to 500 rpms and it would stop.

Since last winter the only changes were the remapping and denso iridium power plugs. The battery is 2 years old varta silver and only 40k miles on board.

Thanks for any help in solving this.

problem was solved!

I went to a local Citroen garage and I`ve done the all updates on my engine throught Lexia software and now it`s working flawless. Ecotuning was not deleted and fuel consumption also decreased

it was temporary...
