radio code needed!

Hi all,

I had to disconnect the battery on my car recently.

Unfortunately I dont have the code for the radio.

its a clarion

serial number CL0401Y0366923

PU- 2294A

Can anyone help?

most decoding services want £25

The only way I`ve ever got a code is by giving those numbers together with the chassis number to the Main Dealer,and paying the £25!! I`ve also come across the code by going through the service book and other booklets as previous owners write it in funny places.(just a thought?)

I can help you , I need both numbers off the bar code please. At a minimum the bottom number (there is a white sticker with them on) usually twelve characters long.

Thanks for your posts. The only number near the bar code is CL0401Y0366923.

It does look like that radio but its the cd version.

Dont know if you can help me with this

I don't need your VIN.

I think my method only works for the tape player version (as pictured) I work them out in my head.

Having said that I've sent you what (would) be the code for the tape player version, based on the serial you provided.
