Hi can anyone tell me how to get to the airfilter on a 05 plate 307 sw 1.6 HDI , is it an engine out , can't even see it.

They have to be the most stupid location ever,why Peugeot did this I never know.The first one I did I spent ages trying this and that and removing unnecessary bits.In the end I removed the O/S top engine mount,let the jack down and pulled the engine forward.Try explaining to a customer why its 1.5hrs labour charge to fit a filter!!

enough room in front of the engine to fit a giant airfilter

Quite right,I can`t think of any Peugeot model where an air filter can not be replaced in less than a minute.
