Xantia is no more

Unread post by KennyW »

Hi guys,

Some sad news, My xantia has died this morning, returning home from my works christmas doo in peebles. we made contact with an Astra.
everything has been sorted through the insurance but it is extensive F/O/s damage which means it will be an insurance write off.

Insurance comapnay on the ball and I had a courtisy car by 5.00 pm but guess what it is a BMW which are crap to drive in the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to speak to the insurance company and see if I could get back.
If so i'll use it for spares.

I going to try and get another Xantia, my preference estate diesel.

That's very sad Kenny :(

Main thing is, you're OK and that's what matters.

Still, she served you well and very wise to get another one! I wish you well in your search for a replacement.

Be wary of rusty sills in late MK2 Estates

Thanks for the reply Jim, yes everybody is okay.

I was very impressed with the old girl as it certainly came off better than the Astra.
