Unfortunally I dont think there is... Once you know the code, you can disable the keypad, there fore unlocking the ECU...

But while locked, you need the code first before you can do anything else first.

Didn't think 95's had the keypad or immoiliser, I know mine didn't.
Check if the pump is actually armoured, if not you may be able to remove the immobiliser bit from it and wire up a 12v feed to the stop solenoid

yep, the only way around it is to fit an ecu with a known code, send your ecu off to be decoded ££££££, fit an ecu from a car with no keypad immobiliser, or remember or find the code obviously  .
What do you want to start it for? has it sunk yet too?

Some specialists may be able to unlock and or remove said code from the ECU for you.

But has already been said, with petrol engines you cannot really disable it until its already 'green' , then you can unplug the keypad and ignore it.

If you can find an ECU from a car with an identical engine and electronics without keypad (it might be possible) you could do a straight swap. This was possible on 106's when they first had a keypad around 97 you could get one of the earlier ECU's (if you were very lucky to get the right one) ;)

A replacement ECU from the scrapyard with code might be another option.

A final idea is to contact these people , they seem quite helpful > http://www.alarmremotes.co.uk/products.htm , I would ask them what they can do for you, worth a phone call / email at least.
Andy.

Then its done !!

DO NOT re connect the keypad... switch engine off, then start again then stop then start, as many times as you like...

Throw the keypad away, and place the original odments try in its place..

Well done! Excellent!

On the second point, there's some very clever people around but they don't share the methods they use.

It cannot be done with a Lexia so they must get right into the machine code of the ECU.

There is a box you can buy that just cycles through all the possible codes, it senses when the ECU is unlocked and displays the last code it entered. It is usually used for unlocking transponder ECUs (e.g. Mk2 Xantia).

Do you have remote locking ?

Its possible on most PSA (but not all) to program it to give 30 seconds or so after unlocking with the remote (does NOT work if you use the key in the door) with a green light.

Although if you have unplugged keypad (all you need to do once its green) that's enough.

Do not throw away as sometimes, if your battery is disconnected, when its reconnected the ECU will be in a locked state, you will need to plug in keypad, enter code, unplug when green light on. Some seem to suffer with this and some do not. Although to be fair they should go back to 'red' / 'lock' if the battery has been off.

Jim, yes that's correct. Although I do not know what specifics are used for this, probably a FPGA custom chip unfortunately, now if it was a straightforward Z80 or 6502 and the ECU program itself in a rom (or eprom, even better) that would possibly be a different matter ;)
