Hi,
I have posted here a few times before with some good advice being given so I thought I would see if anyone is familiar with this problem which has just happened tonight.
I have a S reg Citroen Xantia SX 2.0 l H.D.I, which is a very nice car and has been reliable and good.
Tonight I started the car which started well, even thought temp is about 0 and so is freezing. I used the screen water jets and they flow freely as I put more de icer screen wash in a few days ago. I tried to use wiper blades and they were frozen. Then I heard a click and the wiper blades stopped trying to move and the battery warning light came on on the dashboard.
I am guessing what has happened? Maybe a fuse or a relay or maybe the alternator.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I will check the fuses but that doesnt explain why the warning light from battery.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Steve

Fixed
Hi,
Thanks for response.
Yep that fixed it. Had to replace a 15 amp fuse, which made the wipers work again and the battery warning light went off.
Problem solved.
