I have no experience of this problem, but would suggest disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to ensure that al the electronics get reset again.

Hi and thanks xantia v6
sadly ive tried this ,my big mistake was to remove battery to charge overnight in shed ,should have left in situ ,i think with no batt connected the bsi or computer has been discharged and now has to be re set ?

hi and welcome

i have read somewere not spesific to the berlingo but regarding ECU/BSI memory's,

when disconecting the battery you should not opperate anything, including door's, bonnet or boot lid,

as this allows the medmory's to reset fully,

you might need to have it hooked up to a LEXIA,

Hi Citronut, i
assume a lexia is a diagnostic tool ,do any independent garages have them or do i have to go to main agent [they said they wanted 75 quid plus vat just to look at it !]
seems steep punishment for recharging battery myself
cheersjavascript:emoticon('')

if you go to the supper sticky section on this forum you will find a map of who and were we members own DIS LEXIA's me being one but im on the south coast,

a lot of members only charge a cup of tea and chocy bicy's,

i do charge £20 quid as i run my own car repaire shop

and yes the LEXIA is last generation citroen diagnostic tool,
