Fuel Cooler

Unread post by bozzhogg »

Hi all
I have a 99 T Plate xantia 2.0l HDi and thanks to all this snow the fuel cooler on the underside of the car has been knocked loose and unfortunately looks like one of the connectors has broken.
Does anyone have any ideas as to any solutions to this? I'm not sure if the connectors are replaceable - it was a bit cold lying on all that snow last night. The only other thing I can think of is to splice in a piece of tubing and some jubilee clips!!??
Any suggestions very much appreciated as I'm carless until I can do something about it.
Thanks
David

The two pipes running to/from the cooler cost £10 and £14 each, the cooler £68 and according to the parts website are available so it shouldn't be the end of the world to sort it out.

Now listen up Bozzhogg, I reckon if you're complaining it's too cold to lie under the car, the car doesn't need it's fuel cooling! :P
