Hi all i am looking at a laguna 1.8 16v on a 51 reg and i have a question

when i drove it the clutch seemed quite high but if you put it in 1st and slowly bring you foot out it bits at half way but not when driving it seems alot higher

is this normal or does the clutch need attention soon

hi, possable clutch master or slave cylinder leaking, if you can check around the clutch pedle for leaks and also around the bellhousing, this may give you a clue to the problem, renault did do a recall on the master cylinder so check if you can that this has been done, hope this helps..
