Lhm Resevoir float

Hi guys

I was giving my car an all round service yesterday when i thought i should try and fix the float on the Lhm resevoir

So i gave it a few taps on the top and the float would drop but come straight back up

The problem is that the float is up as high as it can go inside the plastic casing...

The lhm is about 2inches or so from the top looking in

Im assuming iv kept it overfilled ??

put the suspension on high, wait about 20 seconds after its got to its highest then look at the level.

It fools everyone!!

The tank can look half empty - or half full if you like - and the float WILL still be on full, this gives owners the false pretences that the float does NOT work, were in fact, there IS pleanty of fluid in the tank..

The float come away on its own, disconnect the two wires, twist the part the wires are unplugged from and lift thefloat out, then watch it DROP!!

Its plain and simply TOO full, theres nothing mechanicaly complex what so ever about the float, its all plastic except inside the top were it drops down and makes the two plugs contact...
