RENAULT SCENIC II AUTOMATIC HANDBRAKE

Hi folks my scenic handbrake works fine automatic with stop start but when you put the electronic handbrake on manuallly it comes up on dash parking brake fault and handbrake doesnt work manually,what is up with it?it works fine when you use stop start system thanks

contact renault it may just need a reprogramme!
