Seat belts

Hi, is there away tensioning the seat belts a bit so they go back in place when you take them off in stead off them hanging down and getting trapped when i shut the door its a c5 by the way. cheers Stan

you cant useualy re/tension seat belts,
but you might find pulling it fully out might reveal it has a twist in its length which is stoping it retrackting freely,

or may be something is obstruckting it as it enters the slot in the trim,

you know also this can/will fail a MOT if it does not retrackt readily,

Try rubbing candle wax on the underside of the belt where it stops rolling in.

Not too much of it by cold weather, a little bit at a time to see how far it gets.
