Last-last wednesday i hooked up the PPS(PeugeotPlanetSystem) on my Xantia to upgrade the ECU (Sagem SL96). When the computer was about to delete the flashmemory the car battery whent under 12V so the computer lost the connection, car refused to start and PPS did not even find ECU after that. The battery was charged up over night and the next morning I could upgrade the ECU and it started! PUH! But my revers light and speedo did not work and not long ago I have repeared the wiring to the tailgate and it work fine then and I cant see something wrong in the wiring.
So last Wednesday I was troubleshooting after these faults and i found out the speedsensor was broken. Test-devise you can connect to the wiring and simulate mph with a switch and the speedo worked.
Revers lights did work when I jumped the wiring straight on the battery. After that the engine wont start.
The fuse(F2) to speedo and reverselights blasts as soon I turn the ignition on (same fuse).
Eny ideas some one?
