berlingo multispace 1.9

Hi There
looking for some advice please, my van was running real sweet till a few weeks ago and on start up it has a bad knock which affects the power. If you put more revs on you get rid of the noise tempererly, once the engine has warmed up it runs great. I have been told its an injector problem (engine has 80k and van is 51 plate) can anybody offer any advice.

What engine does the van have fitted Richard?

It's vital we know the exact one before offering any thoughts as the problem you describe can have many causes and these are very much dependant on what engine is fitted...

It's probably a DW8 being a multispace as (from memory) these did not appear till about 2002, so it will have to be either a HDi or DW8, the XUD's were phased out around 1998 / 1999
