Just over 900 miles of assorted motorways, B and C roads, in under 24 hours.
Cruise control helps eat the distances, with my AC/DC collection to dull more boring bits.
Temperatures (advised) between 34° and 11°C. Aircon evens it out.
All this done using an eleven year old car, which in the UK would probably be weighed in...
It really is hard to beat the Citroën's comfort for long hauls. A little more soundproofing would ice the cake superbly.

I couldn't agree more, big Citroens certainly take some beating in terms of comfort and refinement. Xantias, Xms, CXs, C5s, they are all so impressive anything less seems like a backwards step.
Even our big 6 is more refined than a lot of new cars and cruises nicely at 80. Just amasing.
