I spotted one in the workshop of my local garage with the bonnet up. It was a Y-reg 2.0HDi, and it was that sort of "reddy purple shade but not too dark" (apologies for the precision).

I know the guys at the garage so I asked if it was local and what was wrong with it. "Oh that's been in months- It doesnt run vary weel something up with the computa".

Sounds like the owner musn't be relying on it for daily transport then. Oh dear I hope I am not going into doing a deal mode, and ending up with three xantias when I barely have room for one...............

regards

Neil

They are disappearing fast Nigel, I see one every now and again. I just bought my 3rd Xantia and it's a nice early 1993 1.9td sinker.

For some reason Xantia's seem to get neglected by alot of owners and they just run them into the ground.

How long until they become as rare as the BX??

Come off it Nigel... you must have almost driven past my house with two Xantia's on the drive and my lad's house with his 2.1TD :taz:

I see four almost every day although admittedly three of them are mine.

Just spotted a silver MK2 in the works car park today...

On my Somerset trip on Wednesday I saw a fair number.

I even saw a BX - now they are rare!

That reminds me, there's a white S2 XM that lives around the corner from me in daily use. Looks clean too! 8-)

Thinking about it I don't think there's a CX I wouldn't have rather than an XM! :o

BTW, to everyone else...sorry if I go on mad tangents about my opinions on XMs...I just can't help it! :erm:
